2191. Children with severe human rhinovirus lower respiratory tract infection

Abstract Background Human rhinovirus (HRV) infection can also cause lower respiratory tract infections (LRTIs). We aimed to investigate the proportion and characteristics of severe HRV among children under 5 years who were hospitalized due LRTI. Methods The medical records reviewed retrospectively in patients caused by LRTI from January 1, 2016 December 31, 2020, at Samsung Medical Center, Seoul, Korea.
